Why do GMs need weapons exactly?

Overpowered 'GM Gear' is useless, GMs (good GMs) dont need it.

I think the problem is that most people nowadays see GMs as people who go in and kill things with one hit, are really overpowered, wear flashy overpowered gear and pose for the noobs.

GMs, in my mind, are there to enforce the rules, assist players, and generally set up the server so that it is solid. A GM has no business going around killing mobs, running dungeons that users can be doing, they are there to set an example, not look like OTT clowns.

That made no sense whats so ever.

Why wouldnt GMS do raids and dungeons? i mean are you serious?> If you runing some buged out server and have 10000 tickets an hour then yes, no time, but if everyting is fine why wouldnt GM raid with GMs? I mean using .kill is pure nonsense , no fun,, I am not sure about you , but some of us beeing admins / Gms still like to have fun.

Same thing with taste, everyone got diff taste. So i am not sure where you came form with that Gms have to do this and have to do that,.

This was meant to give Gms some cool weapon, if you dont like it, doesnt mean others dont ")

I agree with you on the fact that GMs cant jsut walk around killing people and mobs., But raiding and doing bosses is still something ieven do beeing the owner of the server and we are a big server now holding 17th rank on xtrmetop.

Hey, its just my opinion.

Ive GMd and maintained servers since MUDs were the most high tech online games available, perhaps Im just more oldschool.

nope i agree but having nice armor that makes you stand out is also cool but the 9999 max thing kinda noobish
