Is NCDB supposed to be most blizzlike ?
I recently installed the svn version of it and i got ogres running around with girls in sw and all npc's were walking on the spot etc.
I might have done something wrong or i dunno =)

yes it is the best and most blizzlike, but there were some problems with the latest revs...
download the 0.2.3 milestone if you wnt... it is posted on mmowned too

What's the latest known version of NCDB to work with "Ascent 2.8-TRUNK r2801/Release-Linux-X86" ?
I'm trying 2.3.0 now to see if that works.
When i load f.ex 1006 i get all chars start walking but while standing. Maybe that the db is incompatible with the build of the server or something i don't know.

Just tried that build i was recommended to try (milestone) of NCDB and i get segfault from ascent.
So that's not so hot i guess =)

Ehm. Just compiled Ascent trunk 3444 from scratch and imported the latest version of ncdb and the npc's are crazy here. There's an ogre running around with the baker in stormwind and so on. Anyone else experiencing thing or know how to fix it ?

yes this seems to be a problem in latest NCDB revs... that is why i told you to use 0.2.3 or some other older version then the ones they have now..

I fixed it now. Totally recompiled and replaced everything from scratch and then importen my old settings.
So now i'm running latest trunk ascent with latest NCDB database =) Weeee
