Quest Database

I'm creating a website going by the name of UKLan @ http://www.uklan.net (Holding Domain)

The idea of the site is to allow everyone the opourtunity to have access to a mysql database containing WOW Quests and eventually items and other info.
As yet I don't think anyone has released a database like that used on throttbott......

I'm very busy compiling one at the moment for WOW and it will have daily updates.

I'm not giving the database away but im allowing free access to use the database on your website, BUT the database stays on my server for ease of updates.......

I'm really looking for comments or people to contact me to tell me if they will want to use it and generally get some support and build up a user base
Also if you want to help out.... reconition will be made via forum titles and such.

i'd definately use that... what would be really practical is if you'd sort the quests by levels... can't wait for it to be up and running

Well I'll let you have a sneaky look. Below is the existing tables in use at the moment.

[DESCRIPTION]

So since you'd be in control of the SQL query's I don't see no reason why you couldn't list all quests by level or for a certain level .
Also once I have the 3main database's live and in decent shape I will be developing my own search engine for the database's.... however your much more likely to have something online before me since I'm very busy populating the db's.

Just to clarify.

This website will not be another website like throttbot or similar sites, this website is offering the live database's to users to use on thier own website and effectivly make there own search engines for MMO's data.

We currently have no TOS for this service how ever we do have a few basic security measures and rules to follow:

# You will only be given READ/QUERY access to the database.
# Anyone seen to be running a query on every single record "database backup" will be automatically banned.
# Persistant SQL Connection's will be monitored and may be disconnected without notice.

The name of the site "UKLan" has no relevance it is merely a holding domain untill the project really kicks off and starts getting alot of intrested, enough for me to invest more money......
