How can I get my GM powers to max on A non-public Ascent server?

Hey guys,I'm just wondering,I just got a 2.3.x Ascent server,and I noticed to unlock all Ascent GM abilities i have to flag az in my character tables through SQL. I'm not going to use SQL. How else can I get max GM? I cant do ANY commands at all,and when i type .gm it says im az!! :\ Please help me,all is appreciated!

you NEED to use a database manager.. so there you can change your GM power to AZ

Okay ill download it,but then what do i do? :S I used to use MaNGOS so I didnt use SQLYOG alot.

The servers already setup. But does it mater in the order its done in? Since I have everything running to actually get the server,do I just follow the steps on how to install the DB? And how do I know if itll work for 2.3.x?

yea just follow the steps of setting the database and to make it for 2.3.x just go into your logonserver.conf and change your max build to 9999 and thats all

Dude what the ****,this is aggrivating me. MySQL never ever worked for me,it said port 3306 is blocked and i turned all firewalls off,even windows,and turned off internet and i still cant connect. Reinstalled,deleted,in that order a few times and still wont work :'( Is there A spell that can level me? If I can get to 70 or 255 im perfectly fine,or is there any other way to get GM? There must be!! :'(


EDIT- I promised my little brother(He thinks this is cool as shit) That I'd have it all fixed by tommorow morning,im playing on some level 5 just staring at the epic 70 armor,is there ANY other alternative? ANYTHING that works,please let me know,I hate lying to him..:\

you need database for GMpowers but if you already have GM privilegs then just type .modify level 70
