[question] LAN network

I was wondering , does anyoone here has a Lan set up with thier ascent.

Like i have 3 pcs.. 1 - server/2 - regular / 3 - workstation

i can connect fine using my server machine where ascent is installed. But cannot connect from a different pc in my lan network. Ofcourse all of them are connected using a router.

Says unable to connect when i try to enter the game. from pc 2 or 3

can anyone link thier conf setup for lan?


(server already public , already have Dyndns, already have everything set, just cant connect from my own 2md computer lol)

I suggest this: Create a server and make it public, and join with the realm from the another computers, and you have no problem with lan. :wave:

I already have a server public for few months now . lol

Was talking about Lan Configuration.

How are you trying yo connect from the other machines? I find the easiest way without changing any of the WoW files or folders is to use WoWfe.

get the internal IP of your server and then in realms.conf make a second realm with the address as the internal IP, the only bad thing is, your not gonna be able to be on the same realm as everyone else if you do it that way
