Witch emu to chose?

Hello everyone, me and 3 friend's want to create our own server,
I'll be the 'dev' and the one working on custom stuff but b4 starting the
server I was wondering witch emu is the best?
And if you got a good repack suggestion for a instant 70 pvp server
I would be happy to know it.

well the best private server emulators out there are Ascent emu's.for the repack i would suggest AC Web Ultimate Repack 7.3.its the best

If you want stable, MaNGOS
If you want.. erhm, best, Ascent.
If you are good with emus, have worked with them before, i suggest you get Ascent and download everything separately.
If you aren't good with emus, haven't worked with them before, i suggest you get MaNGOS and download repack

Love Ascent, just haveing a heck off a time when updateing it.
the AC repack is a 200x or 1994 ascent rev. so was a pain upgradeing
it to a newer for the last few fixes..

But its easy and smooth running.. love it.

mangos = crash every 2mins with lot of people online
ascent = stable with big population

experienced it on some servers...

Do any of these frigin emulators have mobs that cast spells? what is so damn hard about making a creep cast it's spells? Thats all i want just to have the damn creatures do what they should do the rest I can fix

MaNGOS - As stable as ascent, if not more.

Wanted to clear things up, they have improved on that.
