{How-To} Create a stand-alone MySQL

This is great for repacks.
Step 1 . Go to MySQL site and download MySQL
Step 2 . Start installer and select Custom
Step 3 . Create your repack folder and in that folder create Ascent and Server folders
Step 4 . Modify installation path so it is Repack\Server folder
Step 5 . Wait for installation

I am currently not sure how to start it but.. Ill speak with Skuxta.

When you make the exe or bat file you are telling it to load all the data files. Something like this I believe:

@echo off
echo Please dont close Window while MySQL is running
echo MySQL is trying to start
echo Please wait ...
echo MySQL is starting with mysql\bin\my.cnf (console)

mysql\bin\mysqld --defaults-file=mysql\bin\my.cnf --standalone --console

if errorlevel 1 goto error
goto finish

:error
echo.
echo MySQL could not be started
pause

:finish
