Hey there Knaur, hopefully you will listen to this post.
And, please PM me your response because i wont be on here for a few days and this thread will probably be lost.
Your database is great - probably one of the best out there.
However, I know on my server (We are a proud user of it) its great, but alot of people are complaining because "Norwegian Elite" is pasted everywhere- all custom items have NORWEGIAN ELITE in the name or description, and dont mention all the npcs with NORWEGIAN ELITE pasted or the NORWEGIAN ELITE banners.
Again, your database is great and the best there is - but for servers that are looking to expand bigger than a few players, that have nothing related to NORWEGIAN ELITE, having NORWEGIAN ELITE in the name is just something that shows that the server is not unique. Your database is trying to make servers more unique, fun, ect ect ect, and thats why its being used. But having all the NORWEGIAN ELITE stuff pasted everywhere isnt giving you advertising. No one really knows WHAT it means. All people think is that the server owner is norwegian. -_-

hehe i just have to clean out some bugs, and it will be released, i dont want to release unfinished or bugged work.

i have rebuild whole db to clean out most bugs from 3.0,

and it will run on ascent 2.8 stable rev.

be patient and get a cleaner release =)


btw for other: it isnt actually that big problem with the norwegian part, just open sql in wordpad or something and use rename to rename all norwegian to what you want then it will rename everything that contains the word norwegian

Only issue there, is though, AFTER you've installed it, kinda... screwed.
You should make some SQL's to remove all of the "Norwegian Elite" text in the database, I would rep you x2 for that. ^_^

you need to know c++ scripting and have the source files,
you must then write in the new commands,
and compile a new .dll file.

if you dont know how to do it, then its difficult to do it,
try search in the guides to find out more bout gossip scripts
and c++ compiling of dll sources
before trying change my taxi warp. cause 1 single letter wrong,
and the compile fails
