How many people do you think my server would hold without laggin ALOT.





Anyone know how to make other computers in my house not lag while my server is up?

Haha your server would be lagy as hell

1.your ram is 1G get 2 or maybe even more.
2.More ghz 2 is nice get 2+ duo
3.get xp3 heard it speeds up uploading speeds.

idk i have a LOT less then that and mine isn't too laggy, but of course mine is a dev server for me and 8 other guys

Our server is running off a 2.66 Core 2 Duo with 2GB's of ram and 500 GB's of hard drive and we run just fine.

your RAM/CPU are not the most important thing lol... ascent does not use too much of it... with 2Gb of ram you should have more then enough, what is important is connection speed and with 437Kbps i think you won"t host 150 people without lagg...

with that internet conection you probably be hosting like a 50 people more less lag server get a 2mb conection or above so you can host more than 150
