Designer Island Is the buggest place in game
so i don't have it but i can give you Programmer Island

you cant rebuild it if it was deleted because there is stuff there that was never put info teh game witch isnt spawn able

Tried going there but crashes wow right to desktop. Any ideas on why this happens?

Maybe because its really glitched or maybe your database???, not sure.

Designer Island, is one of the most Bugged out place there is
Even when i had it on my Server, when i got
there sometimes when i got to
Deadmines / Moonbrook in Designer island
(Because Designer island is Westfall with out it's objects)
It crashes me and then i have to change the Location of my Character in the Database to get him out

So yeah i would say you really don't need Designer Island
Stay with Programmer's Island

Or maybe it's coordinates completely not in the game. Maybe the map id...
