PLEASE help

Hey, ive been running my own server for about a month now and hadnt had any problems. I left over the week for fall break and there was the halloween patch. Many of my users downloaded this and are now unable to login to my server. ive tried going from ascent to antrix and its not working out. i fill all the stuff out right, ive got all my ports opened for the dynamic ip and stuff and yet people still cant logon. i can but when i do the npcs are like 20 scale.

Please help on how to solve this problem

you probably messed something up when you switched from ascent to antrix.

Maybe you didn't change everything.

Just get a new repack?

well, i really did change everything, ive looked it over 90 times, and thats waht i did, i got a new repack, and logonserver thing and antrix both run, perfectly, it just doesnt let people connect

find a line in your config files that looks like:
min clientbuild
max clientbuild
change the max clientbuild to latest patch...

What error are they getting when they attempt to login?

or just change max clientbuild to 9999 that will work too probably :P

How can downgrading by around 1k versions help..?

Oh well,
Find in logonserver.conf ( I think, not 100% sure)
Clientmaxbuild
and
clientminbuild
The min build you can leave at whatever you want,
but do NOT lower it with much if you lower it, you don't
want people with the alpha version to log onto your server,
do you? ><
the maxbuild you can change to an really uber high number if you want,
but that can cause problems at later patches, if any of the new patches
bring something the core of the server can't handle or understand.
Making it 8000 will be more then enough.

no its just an "unable to connect" message, i have all ports opened and stuff but i dunno

that didnt work, any other ideas

My first idea would be to do press the "edit" button.

When an patch is downloaded, the realmlist will be changed to Blizzard's realmlist, are you sure they changed it?

Are you sure you havent closed any ports? Maybe an restart of your computer, which made the router change your Local IP, and then the open ports did get forwarded to the old comp? Are you sure you didn't change the logonserver.conf ?

Its so many possibilities, You've got to tell us more info!

yes theyve changed it, i went and opened all ports, i looked and my ip is the same
... im not supposed to change the logonserver?
