    ###
Okay so I loaded up mysql and opened SQLyog, to find that i had no accounts table, How do i make one?
for ascent you accounts, character, tables etc should be in a separate database called ascentlogon.

Q: "Mysql service failed to start...."
    A: (not by me)
    1.
    Code:
Open up [CMD] & type "NET STOP MYSQL". Then type "NET START MYSQL".
Now try connecting. If it still doesn't work, continue below.
    2.
    Code:
    Restart your computer.
If it still doesn't work, continue below.
    3.
    Code:
Open up [CMD] & type "SC DELETE MYSQL".
This will delete the service. You may now try to configure MySQL again. If it still doesn't work, continue below.
    4.
    Code:
    Re-install MySQL and reconfigure.
This will almost definitely fix your problem.
Also try to disbale your firewall and/or other security software while you do this, and have the appropriate ports forwarded.

"None of these Work it just says The Specified service does not exist as an installed service."

Because I can't PM you, haha, I'll ask you here and much appreciate an answer if possible.

    1) I'm trying to host a public Ascent server from my computer. I've followed many guides and had the same problem, over and over.

    2) I'm on a router of which i'm not admin of and don't know password to.

    3) I've forwarded ports through my own firewall, not the router.

    4) I've set up the .config files with my exterior IP only to have the logonserver.exe and the ascent.exe crash.
~I had better luck upon setting it to 0.0.0.0, however althought the .exe's never auto-shutdown, they didn't successfully connect and start the server.

    5) I - need - help. If this is just a problem with my router, and those ports MUST be forwarded, then so be it, let me know that.
~If that's the case, might you supply a way I can crack the wired LAn router without pressing the reset button?

Thanks aton for your help, Tinker.
You at 13 have insanely outsmarted me at 16. I kneel before you and ask for help.

Also, if anyone else knows the answer to my problem, feel free to answer.

    Working but not Working

I have the server setup just fine have figured out pretty much everything not listed in guides i could find. Only one problem with the game and thats about 60% of the spells and 100% of the items that proc dont work the way they do in Blizzard hosted servers. Anyone know a quick link for Ascent Patches that fix these problems?

Hello...i am somewhat new to the server making process, luckily i managed to install repack named "Panex Public 6.0" and i got it working, has a few minor bugs that i can live with, but i noticed that when i opened Navicat, there was no database, and i read all over the forums that you can make custom items and import them into the database, i have not found a way to do that, any help is appreciated!
