if youc reate a character and when you trasy to log back in its usually eitehr a missing or outdated Characters table, or your toons are saving to the wrong account.

get a database which includes a characters table (make sure extracted to ascentlogon)

also make sure its a rather new database.

Hey! Hello . I would like some help you see it downloaded chrispee's repack and did Blindgunner's tut like the other guy and i also get stuck at connect...Unable to connect then i downloaded AcdBrev5 and Well Its the same..

i didnt understand what u said to the other guy about how to fix..

How can im update the chrispee latest repack database to work with ascent revision 2035?Thx with advance....

theres a thread by JulianX which has all the new revisions.... and try not to mix repacks/databases/guides because its slightly different with each.

as for unable to connect, I posted a pretty broad guide which covers most things whih cause it, only thing i left out is that if your ascent.exe. and logonserver.exe are not recognizing eachother unable to conenct may occur.

Thx for replay just this im do already.My problem is if im do the updates the ascent is loading with no problem just inside the gameplay im have too much problems as the custom Trainers is not working and others thing.How im can update the database without losing data?If im do backup before the update im cannot restore it later.Pls help me.Thx with Advance Nicolas.......

OK i am having a huge issue with no npcs or mobs the only thing it lets me do is see create's and stuff <i cant even revive>


i am using atrix and i followed your guide at top as much as i could!

Whoah, no mobs? you need a database with "Creature_spawns" and "Creature name" "creature proto"

If that dont fix it may be mixing db/repack




and to update w/o losing data, revwise, wfind julianX's or thenewer one, it contains all changes.

hi, i just downloaded ascent 1722 for my server and now all the mobs and npc's are gone none of the tips above works. i renember i had this problem once before. and i think i executed a file called Creatures fix.sql but when i try that now i just receive an error. what do i do? it worked good before i downloaded the new ascent.

Someone probably spawned faulty gameobjects at the starting zones or deleted the cells.

Rev 1722 is pretty outdated, i suggest you try a newer revision and make sure you have following tables.

Creature_spawns
Creature_proto
Creature_Names
Creature_staticspawns
Vendors

if you dont havve those thne get a new database.

Okay so I loaded up mysql and opened SQLyog, to find that i had no accounts table, How do i make one?
