Can someone please help me, i am trying to make an Antrix server on my partitioned macbook, the problem is, my windows partition is too small to fit WoW and when i try to run the Antrix for windows program, the map extractor freezes and stops because there are no maps to extract. I seriously need help because the only friend i have who has a windows is a complete retard and i dont want him controlling this server. can someone PLEASE show me how to make a good antrix server on a mac.

I dont get exactly what you are saying, you have a mac running off a windows platform? and not enough memory? please give more detail.

1 - you may have to DL a mac version of it, if there is one, idk for sure, and if its memory you may have to buy one of those sticks you put in your comp that stores things

Heres my problem(for the dude) I have boot camp running on my macbook to have windows, but the partition i made for my windows is too small, so i cant have WoW on the windows side of my computer. Ooohhh, i see your problem... Macs are harsh, oi. >_< the main way i could think of to do this is that you could make your mac run on windows instead of norm mac stuff =l Sorry, but this is hard stuff here.

Is there any way around the bug, like making a random folder called World of Warcraft in C: Program files and just having it extract there without installing wow?

If you don't have enough space...There no fixing it end of.

The only way will be to free up space, Its harsh, But as far as I can see, Its the only way...If I understand the problem anyway :?

best bet here is to delete the partition and realocate the partition with the correct amount of space, i can walk you through it on windows but not on mac, look it up and see what you can come up with. BTW how much freespace do u have on the mac side of the partition and how much in all. what os are you running on your mac. is it OS X or what?

another thing is is your WoW on the windows side of the partition or the mac side? if its in the mac side run your map extractor there and then upload the files in multipal .rar's to filebeam or rapid share then redownload them on the windows side. you dont have to have wow on the server you just need the right files. im running my server on a dedicated comp, and i just transfer the files i need to make it work. i dont even have wow on my server it takes up to much HD space.

i am running the newest version of osx(tiger) and i have wow running on my mac. actually i have no problem because my friend is giving me the windows cds to reinstall the windows so i will have enough space. Thanks though

just in case, i tried this on my emac with virtual PC...and i linked my mac WoW folder into virtual PC (knowing full well i couldnt play) and just did the map thing there.....of course virtual PC eventually jacked up my computer so i quit with it
