can you share a database?

can 2 people host a server with a shared database, i.e. we're playing on hamachi and i want to go to bed = server goes down and the people i'm playing with can't play the server anymore. can a database be shared so if i'm not hosting anymore another friend can host the same server?

Yes, but you will need to synchronise the data somehow.

For example:

SQLyog Community Edition -> Right click on table -> export as SQL dump.

Get the generated file (for each database).

Other computer -> SQLyog Community Edition -> execute query from batch script -> target each file.

Repeat each time you want to change host.

You will obviously need to update the realmlist.

Also note that this can be done while the server is running, in theory.
