Problems with 2.4.3 mangos / scriptdev2 / modding

Hi, so i've used this guy's setup for a mangos server

And everything looks really good and is working fine.
I just got one simple problem:
I don't know how to edit the database! x)
I've been looking around on other threads, such as

and

1st thread is for setting up the server manually and the 2. thread is how to edit the files with visual c++.
But when i go to the scriptdev2 folder, there's only .MYI, .MYD, and .frm extension files, which i cant open with my visual c++ xD
so what do i do to make it work? is there any work around or should i just set up everything manually?

You have mysql and the server running, correct?

If so - download navicat or heidisql and make/add a new connection and write in the host ip etc.
host: localhost
user: mysql username
pass: mysql password

Then you will be to edit items, creatures, objects etc etc etc.
World database - items, creatures, objects and such
Logon/char database - player inventories, gold, level, and some other stuff.

Imo - get Navicat for windows, and if you are running linux get MySQL workbench.
