I will be working on a website for ArcEmu, Mangos, Trinity and SkyfireEmu.

I thought i'd make a post in this section asking what people would want from a website like this and hopefully add some of the features that people want.

The Website
The website itself will be a portal which anyone can setup easily and use as their front page for their server. It will have many features, although seemingly not like websites out there.

Planned Features

• Being able to switch between ArcEmu, Trinity, Mangos and SkyfireEmu on the website with a simple click
• A portal system where you will be able to post news regarding the server(s)
• Comment system

Feedback and Credits
Anyone who comes up with ideas that I have not already thought of or mentioned above will be included in a credits page on the website.
If you give me some good feedback then you will also be included in the credits

Development
This thread will serve as a development dairy for me. I will not be accepting any contributions regarding code etc. I do not really like to work with people on projects like this and therefor will be working by myself.

I will not posting any source code in this thread what so ever, it will be posted with the final release(duh).
I will, however, be posting screenshots on my progress.

Yes I am sure, I want to do this on my own since I want to develop as a coder myself. Learning things along the way that I might not already have known. And I learn things better on my own than I do when someone is assisting me.

i have an idea maybe we can link our mmowned accounts to the website to encourage people to join since its easier and quicker

That would require me to somewhat have access to MMOwned's database which i do not think they could give me.

But then again, there are other ways.

I agree, facebook connect is not something I'd want on a private server website.

I like it, I think your a verry nice person for doing this.

With my suggestions:
Blur between logo and the text
Could make it look abit like this but with your own awesome versions and ideas though Warcraft Template I mean in like a layout context.
A chat box might be helpful.
Active player list.
World map, armoury.
Contact page.
Status.
Forum.
Name generator. (see World of Warcraft - World of Warcraft Namegenerator )
Control panel.

Just basic things really. (Please don't take my critisism to harsh, I mean no harm and I like what you're doing for the community.)

Don't bother putting my names in the credit if you do, I just like suggesting is all.
