Event Ideas

Some ideas for events...if someone has more share them:


Fight Night! - PvP, dueling, and unarmed combat.
Trade Fairs - a gathering where individuals bring materials and items they've crafted to assist friends and other players with new armor, weapons, items, and enhancements.
Fishing Trips - Pretty straightforward, but a great way to level fishing up. Can be made into a contest as well.
Costume parties - it's always interesting what people can put together.
Debate Night - New topics every week!
Speed Dating - Not only for those looking for that special someone, it's a great way to get to know friends and allies.
Fashion Show - Put on your best outfit and show it off, or have a sponsored event for a tailor in your guild! Works really well if you can collect a number of Moonstones to use for spotlights.
Campfire tales - Gather around the campfire in Thunderbluff and have people share stories
Date Auctions - A great way to raise money for a new guild bank tab or other event you plan to host.
Skydiving - Been to the Twin Colossals in Feralas? Free parachutes for those who go to the top.

Boring unarmed event. People with better gear still win. Pretty dumb idea

Trade Fairs - a gathering where individuals bring materials and items they've crafted to assist friends and other players with new armor, weapons, items, and enhancements.

This is called "The guild bank" and its not an event, I dont even see how thats possible. Its marketing...

Fishing Trips - Pretty straightforward, but a great way to level fishing up. Can be made into a contest as well.

This can be scripted and make a custom fishing gameobject to have a small chance to drop certain fishes that randomly spawn at certain coords in a script. Sorta like the sunday fishing thing, Cept you make a custom vendor guy/questgiver

Lonely Nerds. Getting to know random people is a good idea for social health, but honestly cant be an event.

This could be a cool event if you make a custom stage and use the GO for the spotlight from the moonstone. Best RP outfit wins.

Forums Game, not much of an event. Could be a script though, go by fire, sit and talk to npc, he tells a tale and the monster comes out of nowhere, you fight it, quest over. Nice custom quest idea.

Not much of an event, Just boring to be honest. Maybe try to hit platforms and the final platform has a vendor with rare mounts

You gave maybe 2-4 good ideas max, the rest are trash.

Theres a city conquest script that might still be around, I don't remember who made it, but I do know that the creator, or one of the creators released the script early wrath.

for those who don't know, its a script that turns major citys (stormwind, org etc) into pvp zones where you fight through them, kill the boss and take the city for your faction. it was pretty sweet.. sucks for non pvpers lol but still sweet.
