    Hrm...

    http://www.summitemu.com/forum.php
Seems Burlex has bought vBulletin 4.0, and has gotten rid of the splash screen that used to inhabit the site not even a couple weeks ago.
I don't know much about it, but it seems to me that they are getting prepared for a possible release. Not so much is evident as of yet, but that's what it seems to me, and that's what I'm damn hoping for, because lately emulator servers have been burning to the ground.

Or am I just being blatantly stupid here?

There has been no evidence that burlex was the one who registered Summit so... it's kinda either or.

Yes, it's auto perma-ban. Only certain IPs are even allowed to register.
And Burlex was the one who developed Summit core back at Scape, I believe.

Double posting again, but this is to more or less grab your attention.
If you'll look at the footer, you'll notice
    # The new age is here!
    Interesting.
Could this possibly mean that the new age of emulation will be coming soon?
Or is it possible that it just sounds cool?

OK, lets say I'm fairly new to the whole emulation picture. Who is this guy you're talking about, and why is he so special?

Burlex is basically the godfather of one entire side of the emulator scene. First it was Antrix, then Ascent. From there he quit and developed exclusively under the name summit, while other people made OpenAscent and ArcEmu.

i hope it's going to be released, that would be a big improvement and addition to the emulation scene.

So, basically, this guy is making a emulator that would be extremely Blizzlike. Sounds cool.

Yes, but he's kept it private ever since he left Ascent.

    Domaintools.com found this:

    "The emulators

    Shall tremble"

That used to be the home page of summitemu.com quite awhile back. Whatever is going down at summit is looking really interesting.

I don't know if this has anything to do with anything:

    ttp://whois.domaintools.com/summitemu.com
    http://www.domaintools.com/reverse-i...=summitemu.com

The host that each Ascent and Summit use are the same, that could claim some legitimacy.
