Here are the spec's of my dedicated server i'm offering.


AMD Opteron Dual-Core 2Ghz (Denmark)
2GB Ram
250GB Hard Drive
2TB of Bandwidth
100Mbps Network pipe.

Based on the network speeds, it would be capable of handling 1000-1500~ players. The only thing that may not get it there would be hardware.

The server is running Linux, I'm not really looking to give remote access too the server, i can set you up with ftp and so fourth.

I am looking for a server that is already established, has some kind of player base. I'm not looking for immediate % of donations, but if you want upgrades too the server, than it would be coming out of donations.

-- Also looking for Admin rank on the server as well.

Paying to rent a dedicated server, specs dont matter as long as I can hold 200 players+ or so. I prefer remote access so I can edit DB, compile ect. And I also prefer Windows OS for the server.

Hello guys this is my first post. So i want to make it simple. A quick intro and why i am replying to this thread.

I am sandy, from Phoenix Arizona right now in INDIA. I have 4 years experience in Hosting several MMO`s. I will provide you with links after the initial screening.

Okay here is the deal. I am looking for a team or i can just say i am offering high end hosting for a person ( or it can be a team ) who can set me up with 2 wow servers. One server can be a high rate or fun server as that will be the Admins choice( server dev) and one have to be a blizz like server. Locations of the servers will be in INDIA and U.S. I will offer a 30-40% profit on the fun server and i will not offer anything on the indian server. I need experienced server developers and i have plans to run server for more than 3 years. Now comes the server configs. I am willing to spend 200-300 $ per month so you can expect the server to hold atleast 3000 people. I prefer recruiting a complete team ( so its better you have a web developer ) in the team. Both of the servers will be under a gaming network.

Introduction

Hello, I'm William. I've worked on a lot of different World of warcraft private servers over the years as a Gamemaster --> Head Gamemaster --> Administrator --> Co-owner.
Listing a couple: Wow-pwnage, Kamical wow, Cruel wow, Trident wow, Lok'amir, Former Vanillagaming (Can't remember name), Wowm8, WowBeez (And a lot of other ones)
Mostly known as Midna.

However due to a lot of experience I've made up my mind to start up my own project. And now decided to go for an 3.3.5 PVP/Arena server, because that's the one I'd know most about as a player.

Host

I'm looking for someone to host our serevr.
However applies for this position will probably be the co-owner and do most of the work along with me. (If you want to)
The standards for hosting is having a decent hosting kit and be able to speak english fluently.
I also prefer the host to have the timezone near GMT 1+ to Co-op as much as possible.

Prefer that you know SQL or anything similar.

Thoughts

I've had a lot of thoughts into this whole project and I'm very excited about getting started.
Even thought the project itself isn't very complex, I'd like to shot you my ideas so far.
Mainly we'll be going for a 3.3.5 focusing on Arena, and Battlegrounds for sub entertainment.
Aswell with Permanent events such as stair events and such for minor reward.
Titles will be a little different from other servers, since I like to keep their shine on, which means; every title will have it's objective to be gained to a player (Pretty much Retail. I just don't like the idea of not fancy yourself with titles lol)

I can keep this up for series, so I'll be going into depth for more interested people. [Donations, Voting etc]

Will be installing server 2008 x64 soon. Only serious people with a dedicated development team and a stable player-base will even be thought of. Can increase the ram if needed but not the storage as what ****ing server needs more than like 20gb of space haha.
