Blizzard plans to rid wow of private servers!

Most players who starts playing wow starts playing on priv servers first then eventully goes over to the official, if you ask me blizzard should shut up and be happy if they haven't reliesed that :P, they get more costumers and we just eventully recruit for them in a wierd kind of way, it depends on the patiance of a player of course.

Plus if you really stop and look at things WOW is doing the same thing that Ultima online did. Some of thier new release information is ideas stolen off private servers. Why do away with private servers when you can leech ideas from them and incorporate them into your paid servers?

See or hear about wow from friend(mostly)---> Private <<--->>Official--...(you may think blizzard may be unfair or a total scumbag for demanding monthly fee)--->>>hosting/gm/development. And official wow is mostly the same trick over and over again private servers is changeable that is... official servers aren't(except for updates/expensions), people jump over from private to official and back again or the other way, i believe you when you say there is alot of people from the official who jump over to private but there's also alot of people doing it the other way too, private servers that mostly goes down makes people change their minds about loosing a account ever again, official accounts never fades unless you cancel it or get a bann for pissing of blizzard somehow.

I think they wont remove realmlist. They actually earn some money on private server because normally a person starts with provate and then go retail (happened with me and other friends). Some peoples that plays private servers buys the CDs for wow so they dont need to dload WoW every time they reinstall. Well blizz lose money on the ones that go from retail to private tho. but havent seen many peepz do that :P
and Blizz still know their game is such a big success that peoples are so desperate to play it but dont afford it so they make or play on other private servers :P

I think blizzard doesn't care about lots of things, like bots... i remember seing a dwarf hunter farming outside the horde base in nagrand killing some talbuks etc, at least 7 of us in the general chat reported it or more maybey, the bot still was there for 3 weeks but in difrent locations in nagrand. But i kinda kited him to the horde base where he got camped by the elite guards for two hours xD.

Yes, every single MMORPG and even any game that can go online has a form of realmlist. Doesnt mean there is something called realmlist, but every single game that goes online, somewhere in the files is a "realmlist" telling it which server to connect to.

It is impossible to get an online game without this, cause then it wouldnt know what to connect to.

i hear about this blizz theory to kill private servers . what i heard is that they are telling for some derver to shut down or go to judge and pay the price. As I think ridding wow privates one by one is the dumbest idea of blizz ever. They get rid of one and two more will rise at the same time

go to your hosts file and point us.logon.worldofwarcraft.com to your realm's IP address internal or whatnot... really guys... this isn't any... cause for concern.
