^^ Wouldn't that be a router problem. You should probably just call up your routers manufacturer's support number and get help there.

@ Gastric - Add the Authentication error (Where the passwords are not the same in the configurations file) to the main thread please. I have a feeling there will be lots of questions on this.

Erm there used to be a command for weather but i don't know if it still exists...
Otherwhise try the weather table?

You can change the weather using the ArcEmu Weather table in the database. Just follow Lat's link for more information. There is not a command for weather anymore.

I got a problem when setting up hamachi.. well i only change Realms in realms.confiq
every things goes fine.. until you try log in.. then it keeps stuck at connecting to server.. when i click on server on the Realmlist...

Hey every one, I'm an expert at emulation but for some reason can't find out why I am getting the worst lag ever. 1000+ms,

Hosts File-

Using no-ip and have a Cat6 RJ-45 Cable..... In other words a Ethernet Cable. I've used Arcemu and HS they both give me bad lag.

Could be a huge variety of things, Nightmare. Hosting it on localhost or elsewhere? If elsewhere, it's probably just a long ways away from the destination, or your connection is being rerouted (proxy? virus?)

the reason emu experts say custom spells are impossible is becuz it is for most people... (fully custom)
but yes you can create a new name, damageformula and with some ME a fully custom "look" however spells like blizz spells is close to impossible... not saying it is totally impossible though

Teh algrithims = fail also I think Gastric made a guide on it a while back for DBC edits, though it maybe 2d or S7, or someone lol

On a router? hmmm
If you mean trough a router... sure that is possible.. you'll have to do some portforwarding.
Check guides section, there are guides for hosting a server public trough router

I have a question and it needs answering fast, if you can.


I hold a private server, Shadowdark's Blizzlike Repack. I played it with my friend, but he updated from 3.0.3 to 3.0.8 accidentally and now he can't log on. Neither on 3.0.9. But I remember there was something at mangosd.conf that changed what versions you can log on, but I can't find it anymore.

Back in BC, I had a 2.4.3 server, and this same friend was able to log with 2.4.0 because I changed that code. Now I don't remember it and can't seem to find it.

Any ideas?

Hi all i have problem with newer cores.I started compile my own cores till rev.2337 and after that when i compile newer core 2337+ the server crashes after 3-4 mins.Pls help
