Hey everyone! I am looking to be a GM on a server that is starting out. An already developed server is allright too. I have been using private servers in general for about 2 years, with a year of retail experience. I have brought up my own server (Funserver) for me, my friends and some other people. I have many different ideas for events, and the knowledge on how to implement them. I have awesome people skills but know when too much is too much. My name is Brad and i'm 15. I really don't have any current activities except for school and would love to be able to help someone help out with whatever. My only request from you is that the server is already up, and non-hamachi.

Hello fellas!

Duskpine (duskpine.game-host.org) is looking for staff members. We currently have the folowing staff positions availbile:

• Support Staff: If you're a support staff member you'll have acces to an online managing pannel. New Staff members will start with Modderator acces. Which means they can't get themselves the "fancy" stuff. Once we see you're capable of being so, we promote you to Gamemaster.
• Developper: Do you have experience with C++, Ascent, Lua, MySQL, PHP, ... ? Or are you just a very original lad/lass? We could use you on the team!

Ofcourse, we're putting in several requirements. We'd like only capable people in our staff. Here'se our "petit" list.

• Well developped English. You must be able to build phrases and possess the vocabulairy to understand and be understood. No "1337speak", short-words or "lol i think this server rox lol" sentances.
• Social Abilities. You must be friendly, and be able to clam down people, ...
• A brain. Don't be a chimpmunk. Even tough you (might be/are) a Gamemaster, that doesn't mean you know all. Be prepared to learn, ...
• Time. It's logical that you need to be online daily.

We do NOT require people who have had previous Gamemaster experiences or knowledge of the commands! We're having "Gamemaster Lessons" for the new people, or those who'd like to learn something more.

Looking for Developers, Technicians and Testers for ShadeWoW - I can be reached at [email protected]

Testers: All you need to know is how to follow instructions and mess with things. Sometimes you will have certain tasks that need to be done, or certain items, instances, etc. that need to be tested, but mainly you're free to do anything you want. The only requirement to be a tester is that you are on for a couple hours every couple days. Testers will get to try new things before anyone else on the server.

Technician: To be a technician you will need a little more knowledge about private servers, you need to know how to fix glitches such as npc's having the wrong faction, or a vendor not selling the right items. Technicians will not be able to access the database at first, however it is possible that if you are trusted enough you will be given database rights, and allowed to fix entries in the database. You should also know how to fix scripts and other files that the server depends on. You will be working closely with the testers to make sure the server is functioning and improving constantly.

Developers: Our developers will have a range of duties, your main task will be to come up with ideas to improve the server, mainly by watching the forums and seeing what people are complaining about or just by coming up with cool events and items. Since the starting server will not have custom items or vendors, your job will be a little slow, so it would be useful if developers knew how to edit and create scripts to make the boss fights more challenging and realistic. Once the funserver is open, developers will be free to come up with any ideas and work on tons of custom developments.
