Looks really cool. Its a great idea really. Imo, at the moment little guys don't have a chance in hell of getting to the top because they will never have as many players as the top sites. Good work, and the website is O.O very nice. Hypnotic WoW Website designer = you? :P

Nice screenshot, but you need space for ads. Gotta fund it if it gets big, and unless you've got deep pockets, the bandwidth will definitely add up.

This is the wrong attitude to have, you're making a site congratulations why should I join your site over any other? You have less audience less attention and virtually no gain by using your site over that of the current major power. Granted I do not like the current major power I think their tactics and such are pure bs, but honestly the problem is that they do have plenty of visitors and have become almost a necessary tool in server advertisement.

In order for your site to succeed you need to have the support of the major private servers out there, without that you'll just end up setting up this site and hoping for players, you might get a few servers but ultimately if quality servers do not support you neither will the players.

And you think WoWScape or toxic wow won't be on the top of your list? I guarantee they will should your list gain any success. Simply because they have the player count or at least WoWScape does, no doubt the servers used cheap tactics to get where they are the problem is they are already there and the damage has been done. Better protection against botting and voter fraud is what I'd like to see as purely a private server owner, but also I don't see how you'd accomplish this with the vast amount of proxy users and so on, blocking one IP won't do, you can get one of those `proxy blacklists` and still not solve the problem at hand. Now and days changing your ip is as simple as a few clicks, especially those within the private server community know how to do this and practice it daily to evade bans from servers.

The little servers have just as much chance as anyone else, I can say this simply because I was the little guy, and my server managed to take the #1 place on the top100 even if for a short time (few days or so) before wowscape regained it, then lost it to toxic. Putting newly created servers on the front of the toplist simply creates problems, why bother sending my users to your site to have some new server that has 1 total players be on the front page when I have to work to get my users to go over there and actually use your site, where as this person just simply created their site and bam their up there with everyone else. If anything have an area designated for "newly created servers"

I wish you luck and honestly hope your project succeeds as we're in need of a replacement for xtop100's sad excuse for a toplist sadly, the problem is that it works.

First of all. The screenshot looks amazing. I can't wait for this.
And second of all, if you read from his first post, on the thread you would know it's still hard for WoWscape and ToxicWoW to be on top. No more forced votes. Am I mistaken?

I'm interested in helping, but I've been admin on a server that has gone from rank 500 to rank 3 on one of these topsites without much effort, if a server really wants to try it's not hard.
