Item ID/Name to Display ID Converter

    Hey MMOwned

I was looking around the internet for things like these and I found this. It can tell you the display ID of an item by typing in either a name or entry ID.

Link: Item ID to Display ID Converter

It is mainly for people who don't have or know how to use a DB Editor. Credit goes to VampiricDust at WoW Vendetta

NOTE: This is created by VampiricDust of WoW-V. All credits go to him.

And also, this Item ID to Display ID Converter DOES NOT have 2.4x Items in its Database. Sadly. So it only works on some Items, not all. I think Brutal Gladiator has been added, but the Suwnell & Quel'Danas Items have not. Or atleast, not all of them have.

Or you just use Thottbot or wowhead, take the page sourcecode (of the item) and make a search (ctr + f) for "display" (without quotes). And you got the display.

Item ID to Display ID convertor ...

Well, since you already have the data ... why not just look it up in the database ... all you have to do is open your database, open the items one, and look up the item by item ID ... the display ID is right there with it , being a database, it kinda has to be ...

Just thought I'd toss that out there ...

Get to know your databases guys ... you'll be surprised how easy they are to play with ... I personally build all my items and NPC's manually with wowhead as a filterable search tool to get main ID's, and a lot of clever copy/paste maneuvers :P.

Items: Add &xml to the end of wowhead urls.
NPCs: View source, then search for displayid.

You'll want to use wowhead and not your local DB, mainly for items which, well, don't exist in your DB yet
