The AspireDev team is proud to present the first Ascent flavor core to fully support 2.4.3

The AspireDev team currently consists of Spectre, Pepsi1x1 and myself. We strive to be a stable, working Ascent flavor with emphasis on quality fixes and funserver support.
So far our SVN was public yet little-known. We are now ready to burst into the public as the first fully working 2.4.3 core.
Our core features enhanced funserver support with more hooks, more configurability and other funserver-supportive features than vanilla Ascent. This however does not sacrifice stability, which stands at about 20 hours when 1500+ players are on. Of course it doesn't mean you can only run funservers on this core, blizzlike features remain intact if you do not wish to tweak them.
Our goal is to fix as many bugs and exploits as we can, and add as many features as needed, and all using clean, good code. No hacky fixes, just great code. We aren't afraid to get messy and rewrite big chunks of the core to improve stability or efficiency.
This isn't another attempt to steal Ascent nor is it a call to war. We made this core to avoid the drama which seems to be following WoW emulation.
We fully respect the other flavors and server bases out there, and send our warm greets to them.

The SVN is as follows:
Core: svn://svn.aspiredev.org/AspireCore
Scripts: svn://svn.aspiredev.org/AspireDev
Note that the core comes with most of the stable released scripts under the AspireScripts project file. The Scripts SVN contains scripts under development that you can learn from, or further help to develop.
