You need to right click the ad.exe file and click "Run As Administrator" then it will ask you to verify yadayadayada then it will start running. When its done, you have your maps

I had this issue before and its VERY frustrating.

well i already did that lol, ive done everything i could think of, i deleted everything and started from scratch and still had the same problems, i repaired wow before running it as well, idk, i do appreciate the advice and attempted help though, will+Rep you guys for trying haha.

NEW PROBLEM, got the maps to work finally, now it says it cant save my realmlist....makes me want to /wrist..

ok so when i go to put the new realmlist in i get this error message, as follows

Cannot create the C:\Program Files\World of Warcraft\realmlist.wtf.file.

Make sure that the path and file name are correct.""

sooooooooo idk what to do, suicide is becoming an option, but idk.

alright, now, i found a way to let it save my realmlist for the private server im trying to play on, but NOW, when i go to log in, it tells me that it cant verify the game or version type, some $h!+ like that, its annoying me, my computer is going to be in numerous pieces scattered about my room pretty soon, or my brain. either way, i still cant play. help me. HELP ME.

Right click realmlist.wtf and go to properties click on the tab security click on edit and make sure everything is checked under allow. That's what I had to do to fix mine not sure if it will work for you.

[Edit] Nevermind didnt notice you fixed it.

For that go into to your logonserver.config and look for

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
MaxBuild = "9999">

Make it look like mine, and you should be able to log on when you fix it.
