    Map issue?

    MY cousin who is running Windows Vista is having an issue, when he puts the program and the "map folder" in his WoW directory and he runs the program, it doesnt extract the maps into the folder, any ideas? thx.

    Is the ad.exe in the maps folder? Because it shouldn't be.

    nope, ad.exe is in the wow directory along WITH the map folder, but not in it.

    Hmm usually no one has problems with it on vista, is his WoW patched to the latest?

    The whole ad.exe runs, but when its done just nothing shows up in the maps folder...

    Make sure wow is not running.
    Try downloading it some were else. (Repacks will work fine)
    Make sure that the ad.exe is in C:Program files/worldofwarcraft
    If you do not have the USA version of wow there is 4 other types of exe's for other types of wow.

    No, all wrong

    You need to right click the ad.exe file and click "Run As Administrator" then it will ask you to verify yadayadayada then it will start running. When its done, you have your maps

    I had this issue before and its VERY frustrating.

    try downloading some map files from online or just download someones repack and copy those map files
