    host cant connect

    Ok i searched and searched and searched and i cant figure this out.

    Very strange things are happening with my server.

    My server is running perfectly NON hamachi and others can connect to it but I cannot not on any pc on my network not wirelessly not wired not at all.

    I can connect on the server box i made for it just tonight and see my realms sign up page and make accounts and so on, here you can even try it yourself.

    Eclipse Test Server (0 players online)

    all ports are routed properly all other people outside of my network can connect to it.

    It wouldnt be such a big problem but the server box i made to hold the server is a t6100-939 and has the onboard GPU and 1 gb or ram running a 2.0ghz processor so i dont want to be on it cause A)the graphics would suck my balls and B)its the server you would be laggin the hell outa everyone.

    and theres a C)i have a nice Acer Ferrari laptop that plays the game nicely so id rather use that !!!!BUT IT WONT CONNECT!!!!!

    nor witll my q6600 Striker extreme machine or my old A8N32-SLI 4000+ amd machine.

    they all get stuck on Authenticating or even the RARE Connected then a ball shattering Disconnected from Server ensues.

    but Everyone else can.

    SO i implore you assist me in figuring this out and i will love you forever. If you need more info let me know.

    oh ya and 1 last thing, first i was hosting the server right here on the very same acer laptop that im typing on and other computers in my network could connect to wow, that was actualy the first time i knew my server was working i went to the AMD machine in the other room typed in eclipse101.servegame.org and got the sign up page. Then i changed the realmlist to the same address on that very same machine and logged in so fast it dam near knocked me off my chair. Just thought i would add that in there so you know that at one time it worked.

    But after moving it to its own dedicated server i have no dice.

    In your ascent-realms.conf change add another realm, with the realm ip as 127.0.0.1:8129.

    Just like this:

    Code:
    <Realm1 Name = "NAME(Public)"
            Address = "eclipse101.servegame.org:8129"
            Icon = "PVP"
            Population = "1.0"
            TimeZone = "1">

    <Realm2 Name = "NAME(Local)"
            Address = "127.0.0.1:8129"
            Icon = "PVP"
            Population = "1.0"
            TimeZone = "1">
    Also, change the RealmCount to 2. This will add 2 realms to connect to, which are both idenetical and you will be able to play with your friends. Change the Realm1 Address as to whatever it is. I am assuming your using ascent.

    Well you can try to check your Logon config :

    AllowedIPs = "***MUST BE COMPLETED***"
    AllowedModIPs = "***MUST BE COMPLETED***">

    I think it is suppose to be something like this :

    AllowedIPs = "127.0.0.0/32"
    AllowedModIPs = "127.0.0.1/32">

    My laptop which im on now now has the server hosted back on it.... the other pc's mainly the one on the same desk as me that i was going to make into the new host loads the SPORA page incredibly slow and with no images but it still tells me that their are players on, IE me which i am right now.

    I dont understand this at all why after changing pc's and subsequently changing back am i still having the same problem.

    as i was typing 1 image loaded i typed a whole half assed paragraph and i got 1 create account button.

    wamp is port 80, right?, if it wasnt port 80 the page wouldnt load period, right?

    :yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck::yuck:

    so in order to run my private server on my network i need to add a realm with the routers internal ip ie 192.168.0.100

    then make the realmlist on the client pc that same ip ie set realmlist 192.168.0.100

    is that what i understand?
