No1 has properly thanked burlex for his work on WoWEmulation. Without him ArcEmu would exist, NCDB wouldnt exist, and mmowned would be as popular as it is today.
and what is the point in talking behind Trelorn's back.

all i ever see hasbro commiting is patches other people have made, he just recives money and lets everyone do everything for him. I remember the old Antrix community, nice and peaceful. At first i didnt relise why burlex stopped working on ascent, but it came to me not long after.

As long as ArcEMU brings ascent to its best. and actually improves it i will use it at any times. Plus i love how many updates they're bringing. I will use ArcEMU and use it forever until Ascent makes a comeback and amazes the shit out of me. I think ArcEMU turned Ascent into a funner thing to use. Its great. Great Updates. SO many fixes. New stuff. and much more. This project will never be forgoten. Plus i've been using ArcEMU when OpenAscent went down and stuff and... well i like what they're doing to it.

Also @Ballwinkle, I haven't taken a dime from anyone. Burlex has been thanked over and over again along with a bunch of others. And if you continue posting in this thread with your nonsence I will make sure you cannot do so any longer

Anyways, ArcEmu is more supporting to funservers, while not losing the dominant blizzlike support. This, I like.
Whereas the old ascent is still frowning upon funservers. And even Mangos now, funservers are losing respect. Whereas ArcEmu fully supports them, especially with the new config file XD

burlex had a legion of followers (like you) who would and DID jump when he says jump, people wrote 5 paragraph speeches which could be summed up entirely with the word "thanks". burlex quit on everyone simply because he didn't like ONE person, as for trelorn.... i plain just don't like that fella, his decisions are rash and burlex is rubbing off on him although he is still a great coder.

don't get me wrong, i don't like hasbro either, he inherited the EMU by luck and probably doesn't know jack about coding, that being said it is because of him that an open source emu still exists which counts for something i guess.

IMO i cannot wait for wcell, but til then arcemu is the best option.
