recipes glitch

ok new glitch. on my server recipes dont work. as in nothing happens when you click em. they are useless and since some of the best items come from recipes i was wondering what i can do to fix this

Core revision, Core make (Ascent, Mangos, ArcEmu, ect.) and What databasE?

core revision? not sure what that means and its ascent, latest version and database not sure
