Vendoring items cost money!?

I don't know how this is even possible but...

Whenever I try to sell items to a vendor that I have purchased from custom made vendors it takes away the sell value instead of adding it. The problem seems to be within the item, as I can buy from a stormwind vendor sell to custom vendor fine, but not buy from custom and sell to stormwind.

The item values have not been modified, sellprice/buyprice looks normal. A bit confused.

If the custom item sells for 999999 gold or something it might be becouse its resetting your gold since max is 400k sometimes 200k. Then it resets.


But doesnt sound like such an issue. Idk what the problem is if its not that

Check the DB, if it stands - before the sellprice

I checked that as well, and that just sets it to 1copper if negative. I've retracted my decision in that its item related because I added the item to my bag via .additem, and via stormwind vendor; and it vendored fine. So perhaps buying from a certain faction flag or something... arg

Interesting. I have to say, it could be that there's a problem with the vendor. In order to see, try modding the vendor's faction to Stormwind via database (ADE is best for that I find) that will narrow out faction. Also, try changing his flag between repair and vendor. That will narrow out flags. If you are still having problems, try re-creating the vendor

I tried the faction mod that wasnt it, im not entirely sure what the repair flags are. I have flags set to 130 (for quest giver + vendor). 128 doesn't work either though. Going to copy an exact proto/creature_names and just add as a higher number from one that works to see if this solves the problem.

4096 is the flag for Repair vendor.

well it seems to be working now, I dont know why...something must of been tweaked. Got the import directly off WoW-V vendor maker though.
