I run a MaNGOS server myself. It runs great, is configured just the way I like it too. If you have not played on a MaNGOS server, check mine out if you like at Silvermoon-UDB-MaNGOS Private Server

I enabled the ability to learn all 10 professions, something I don't think you can do with Ascent. There is also an auction bot. There is a link to the community forum from the home page if you would like to comment. Fee free to do so!

I am considering switching to the new AC-WEB Ascent server. I just downloaded it today and I am testing to see if works out for me and my community.

Kobold / Ascent is 10000 times more stable.
Yes you can do that with Kobold / Ascent
I bet you haven't even tryed Ascent / Kobold becaus you don't know how to set it up

The reason Kobold seems more stable and efficient then Ascent is not because it has "less bugs" It simply does not have those spells, skills at all so they just don't work rather then be bugged. Do they even have collision and vmaps? Any type of pathing system?

The differences aren't even that noticable. Ascent is better at higher amounts of ppl, but they're still emulating wow. It's like fighting over coca cola and pepsi. FFS SAME STUFF ANYWAY.

Oh right, on topic.. In alot of situations i think mangos sounds better becouse all the "ubberleet" features is easymode. Its abit more difficult with ascent. But its doable

It's not the end product that matters, it's how you got there that does.
If Kobold really has that many fixes, but most of them are hacky, it doesn't mean it's better :P
