yea, theres alot of places you can do it, and another thing is that you shouldnt do vendors, you could find some hidden spot or make a command or somthing, even a gossip script to check player status, and if theyre not gm, dont give them the selling menu

you can always just put in an elite mob on the island that you would have to .invisible to get around with them there like illi or something

Or, just don't put sensitive vendors in the world. Nothing .additem can't do there.

As to prevent people from going to the island, try the onzone hook.
