Errors installing Ascent on Linux..

While our box is still down at the planet due to their explosion in the data center. I'm trying to set up Ascent on a Linux box. It has Webmin and CentOS 5

While ./configure is running I receive the error..

checking for pcre_study in -lpcre... no
checking for pcre_compile in -lpcre... no
checking lib pcre... no, (WARNING)
configure: error: Couldn't find pcre library. Make sure your pcre path is correct.

You need the pcre and zlib libraries.

Yum says they are both up to date zlib, zlib-devel both 1.2.3-3 and pcre, pcre-devel 6.6-2.el5_1.7

You'll need to edit the project files to point at the right path to them, then.

Or you could just get windows server 2003, which is the shit.. (as in its awesome)

Our dedicated server is Windows. This is just something for our members to play around on during the major downtime we are suffering from the explosion at The Planet.
