    Updating compiled versions of Ascent/ABD/Moon++

Does anyone else feel compelled to install the latest revision of each as soon as a new revision is released? If not, how often do you recompile? Honestly, I'm going insane because I'm continually updating and every time I finish recompiling, it seems there is a new version up.

Anyone else get obsessed with having all the latest versions, or am I just nuts? If you have any tips on how and when to do it (so that I'm not constantly doing this), that would be great.

    A few extra questions:

When ADB says they're gonna release a milestone soon, which I hope includes 2.4 spawns for all of the new places (MT, SP, and the isle), does milestone mean a new tool.bat, or just another SQL. Because every time I use the tool.bat, every thing gets deleted, and I'd like not to lose my current custom stuff (or, if there's an easy way to back-up all that stuff, that's fine too).

Also, if you know what "commit SVN" does, I'd love to know.

And one more thing, every time I add a C++ script in, do I have to recompile my Moon++ scripts? Cause it's a bit frustrating, haha.

Umm, I asked an opinion question at first, so you really can't search for that. And what makes you think I didn't search for the others? I just wasn't successful at finding answers for half of them, and the other half I didn't search for, but that's because I came up with them as I was typing the OP. So I was like, why not just add them and make it a super huge question thread?

God, but really, when people just assume that you didn't search, that's really frustrating.

So, anyone else have any answers?

Put your custom stuff in different tables.
I used myitems for custom items, myproto for proto, etc.

Commit SVN simply commits your changes to the SVN, if you have access to it.

Every time you want to add a script you need to compile it. Either make a new project just for it or compile it as a part of an existing project.

A "Milestone" means an acheviement. For ABD that means -Complete 2.4 spawns, Up-to-date 2.4.2 item updates, Up-to-date 2.4.2 Items and disenchanting, ect. It basically means they've got pretty much everything done for 2.4.2

So, what does that mean? Will it just be a SQL?

Oh, and Sector, since you're here, when's the ETA on the 2.4.2 milestone?

Not sure, (yes its SQL) but we may not end up doing it. The staff has got in some... "skuffles".

Well since you all pmed me about custom tables:

Copy the structure of the db you want to copy
Move your custom stuff from the regular db to the copy
    Go to ascent-world.conf
    ???
    Profit.

Oh, duh, I didn't edit the ascent-world.conf, that's my problem. Everything else I had done, thanks Spidey.

EDIT: What do I need to edit it here, I didn't really see anything that could help me.
