[Question] Wierd C++ Problems

I just recently started having this problem.

Anytime I open, save, use (such as in compiling ascent)a file it disappears. I can't find it anywhere and its causing some serious problems.

Any ideas?

I can't find the files still!

And I reinstalled but the same problem is occuring. Virus scanner has found 2 issues but its not done so I can't see what they are.

I actually had the same problem a month or so ago.
For me, It wasn't a virus, but an issue with my operating system conflicting with my visual C++ program. I got the latest service packs for each, the latest updates, ect.
Next thing I know, it was working again.
This probably won't help you, but if it does, no problem

Look for an "output directory" setting, you may have it set so files are pushed into your compiler's folder.

Sounds like a virus

Look at your registry. If your registry is incorrect It could not be showing the files. If you want a program that can do this safely I will recommend Advanced System Optimizer. Search google for it.
