[Need Help Quick!] Upgrading a server

So patch 2.4.2 came out today, and my private server is set to patch 2.4.1. I have a project due for school tomorrow and my server won't work, since I can't access retail servers with my school's internet.

If someone could tell me how to update a server to work with a new patch, that'd be awesome

Find this in y our ascent-logon.conf file

<Client MinBuild = "xxxx"
        MaxBuild = "xxxx">

And change it so the max build will be 9999 - This will make as it works for every patch (unless a new 2.5.x comes out)

For example

<Client MinBuild = "6739"
        MaxBuild = "9999">

My server's a Mangos, i'm looking through the CONF file for anything similar, would there be any sort of Mangos counterpart to this?

I think it must be something in mangos that is like this. But I have no clue, never worked with mangos. Try to open up the conf files and ctr + f search for maxbuild

As this is such a small patch it dosnt really do anythin major to servers so changing things shouldn't be needed

That was my first step, atm i'm not finding anything, sadly.

upon logging in, i get an error saying "cannot validate game version... etc." My client works fine with retail servers, but not this one.

when i go to log on just gets handshaking, or authenticting, never goes on
just got 2.4.2 and i have reinstalled everything like 3 times
Everytime connects except for when i actually type in admin admin and then it stops working
Any help?
