    Lua Learning Project

The Lua Learning Project is meant to help myself (and others) learn and understand Lua to it's fullest. We don't do Full Blizzlike Scripts since those are just way too advanced...We do Custom Scripts and take ideas for scripts. This project isn't meant for Beginners, It is meant for people who understand Lua and know how to write a simple but working script, but don't know how to write an advanced script.

    Our SVN Address is
    http://mmoforge.org/svn/mavensfun
    Acct Name- anonymous
    Pw - Leave Blank

    Our Forum-
    http://luascripting.freeforums.org/
We are working on getting our own domain name

I ,Maven, Am looking for someone who makes repacks (preferably an accomplished one known by the public) who would like if this project would start scripting for the repack.

If you own an accomplished repack, please contact me at [email protected]

    Thanks!!

    Have a Great Day!!!-

I am sorry, but Lua sucks. It is only used for a few apps, is not powerful or diverse at all. Its a waste of time to learn it. Let others make lua scripts. Learn C++.

Lua is useful. You shouldn't have to learn C++ just to make a boss fight. That's why they have Lua in emulation

Yeah. C++ is very hard to learn from a tutorial or book, you need an acutal lesson or class. LUA is lightweight but Ascent is adding more functions to make it more powerful.

Actually a great way to use C++ is to make a new luascripting.dll to add alot of functions to lua to make it more advanced, but still easy to use
