You cant unfortunately. GM tags are stored client side, you cant edit them.

Sorry to steal your post but, can you modify the name on the normal ranks? like
private, corporal aso. Or are they client side too?

doubt it. They may have changed their names in the db from like,
Gastric
to
<LOL>Gastric

But you cant edit the Gm tag
