Hamachi is an option but bear in mind that 1) only others using Hamachi can connect and 2) by bypassing your router/firewall you are thus opening yourself to attack. I would suggest continuing to investigate why your server is not functioning properly and resolve it. If you are able to connect locally but other's cant it is more than likely a router or firewall issue.

Firewalls and Routers are almost always the causers of servers being unable to go public. It is such a pain because most routers and firewalls are extremely hard to configure and there are sometimes multiple things you need to do to configure them.

I took down my firewall, have all ports forwarded on my router and have the .config files edited properly and it still does not work

I have no clue what to do anymore, I've been up for hours checking, rechecking and testing every possible variable I still get the same result, which is when you type in your account info you get "unable to connect" right away

Well not entirely likely it IS possible that your ISP has decided to block inbound traffic on 3724.

yes i can't do this eaither i have been on hamachi for the longest times because i cant get a external ip could somone please give a link to a good detailed guide or somthing because im getting so anoyed!

its easy to get public with hamachi but i want it non hamachi i have a dyndns thing. what happends when i start my ascent logonserver and ascent world it loads everyth8ing fine but then ascent world doesnt connect to logon server it just says connecting to phoenixserver.kicks-ass.net and just keeps trying to connect. i have all ports forwarded and i think i set up the config files properly but im not sure if u have any ideas tell me please

Then it might have something to do with your ISP in which case your only option is a VPN like Hamachi. If all your ports are forwarded and your firewall as well then that must be the reason.
