Talk from console?

I've been on a few private servers and i have seen "Console : *WORDS*" appear in the chatbox, anyone know how to do that? +REP

Yes, in your ascent-world.exe or ascent.exe

type

announce TEXT

and in the game it will say
"Console: TEXT"

Yeah, also, I think there's one, where it's: wideannounce or announcewide. It makes the text appear on peoples screen instead of just on their chat log, kind of like raid warnings

The admins of servers can see who is online by opening the server window (DOS sorta command promt). They have a few commands available to them.

They can communicate to the players without having to log into the game simply by inputting the command

announce XXX

where xxx is the text.

Other GM's can reply ingame using the .announce feature, and the admin can then read what the GM's are replying.
