[Help] Creating New Models menu

    [Help] Creating New Models

    By the title, it sounds as if this should be in Model editing but i have created the models but i wish to import them into my server so i can have them as npcs. I am using an Ascent 2.3.3 server with Spartansp's repack.

    Someone please answer me to how i can import these models. They are currently saved as .ms3d and .chr files and i wish to put them into my database.

    Did you make a display ID for it? Or is it just a model?

    At the moment it is just a model, the question is, how do i make a display ID for it?

    Well, then I'm not sure. And as for display ID, you probably have to look through MPQ files with My Warcraft Studio and then you'll have to edit it to add your model and give it a display ID.

    Hmmm that doesnt sound like much fun, plus screwing with my Mpq files then having to repair and repatch arent really things i look forward to doing

    I have no idea. But SectorSeven is right. It started off as emu discussion, but now its going into display IDs and MPQs, so it should go into model editing section.     In order to find the displayId, you need to create a new line in the DBC files.
    Bad idea imo.
