DBC FileS For Patch 2.4

when i try to use the 2.3 dbc on my machine it says config file incorrect, i can run the 2.3 server as i am now

also when i try to start it on my actual server machine this comes up, using the EXACT same stuff, any help would be apperciated ty

I tried adding these .dbc files to my core (as I do any other patch, and it works fine ) even extracted some myself, and when I launch ascent it gives me a compatibility error stating something of the likes

spells.dbc file formatis invalid ours: 2.1.3 theirs 2.1.4

that may not be the exact error, as I'm on my laptop atm, and not inside my house, but basically, no dbc files from a 2.4 client will work wiht 3_8stable ascent, or 3_5

can someone help me here please???

lol aka wowscape is telling burlex 2 stop doing the........cores so 2.4 wont be out for a long time wowscape is payiing burlex a lot of money lol the call them self's a company lol

In a few minutes, all WoWscape servers will be going down to apply the 2.4.0 patch server-side.

This means that to be able to play after this is done, you will need a 2.4.0 client.

People using a 2.3.3 enUS client can patch up by simply connecting to our logon server as normal, and the patch will automatically download.
For the rest of you using other locale clients, you can find the patches here:

NOTE! The new island (Quel'danas) IS NOT SPAWNED YET. We are waiting on work from a database team to complete this.
You may be able to fly there via taxi but expect to have to use your hearthstone to get out.

Patching should take no longer than half an hour on the servers.
As always, WoWscape is the first place you'll see major advances in the server software. Don't expect any other servers to have this patch for at least a few weeks.

If you see other servers advertising 2.4 support, be sure to check the combat log and who list, and do guilds and parties crash the client?
I'll be accepting PM's on IRC if anyone encounters any MAJOR bugs with this update (as I'm sure there will be), I'll be setting aside the next few hours to fix these if you come across any major gameplay-breaking bugs.

Hey Chrispee, spell.dbc is broken. The moment I turned on ascent I was spammed with trillions of lines of text saying it was invalid, after like 20secs my computer crashed.
