1 last question on the ncdb, Have you had any trouble with Boat hanging, or getting disconnected after you finally get the boat to show up? once I get on it and it start to go into the loading screen, I get booted, only logging back into the server I can finally reach destination after several logins.
Everything is working great other than this miner detail.

If you have trouble with the boats/zepelins, I advice you to run this "Transportfix.sql" and everything have to run smooth.
Well for me it does , I hope it works for you aswel.

can any1 help me maybe this is stupid but i think to i am done "almost" everything and i still get message from ascent-world to i am newb that didnt read even half of of his conf file...........so can any1 tell me what am i messed up.

hehe, you forgot to delete some lines within you ascent-world.conf
namely:

<die msg="I am a newb who didn't even read half my config file!">

and

<die2 msg="I read nearly all my config file, but not the whole thing!">


DELETE these lines from you config and it should work.

Yeah, and anyone who has a message pop up saying something about a side by side configuration you just need to update .NET Framework to the latest one... i believe its 3.5 : http://www.microsoft.com/net/DownloadCurrent.aspx thats the latest one

Even if you already updated it do it again and it should work

i have a question... i have never understood what NCDB is for...what it exactly does and how i use it...any one can awnser this for a newb hehe

The NCDB is to update your world database with latest fixes,
you will need the latest NCDB if you don't wanna have errors/bugs.


If you wanna run it right click the tool.bat and change user/pass into your username of MSQL & it's pass.
Then in wdb & cdb you have to change it into the character database name and world database name then save it and run it + press your w button.

NOTE: this will whipe all your custom adds from your server and you'll have to redo them.
