    Getting targets hp

    Hello,
    as Im progressing further I got another question regarding finding addresses with cheat engines.
    Right now I try to implent a function healing my mates depending on how much hp they have in relation to their total hp. The patch I work on is 1.12.1.

    However I am struggling on finding a good way to check the targets hp:
    So far I have done a cheat engine scan for a unknown value followed by many changed / unchanged value scans while damaging my target (was duelling a mate).
    Everytime I've dont this I found a value displaying the correct hp + 1 but from there I couldnt go any further with "find out what writes to this address".
    Also its not displaying my targets hp but the hp from the player I used to test things even if I dont have him in target anymore.

    I will try to look deeper into this while I wait for answers here however I think I wont come that far without real disassembling knowledge (working on it to).
    Is there any good way to get the targets total and current hp?

    Thanks in advance
    Corthezz

    Why use cheat engine to display your targets hp? /script print(UnitHealth("target"));
    Also, look into the way object managers work. If you add that address to your addresses list, it will ALWAYS display his hp until he goes out of sight.

    The targets HP isn't a fixed address. The target's pointer is stored (I think in your own players data, if not a fixed address), You add that to the offset of the unit HP, and I think you add that to the object manager address; You then read the data from that point and it will give you their hp (Don't know what size it is, so the datatype read may be anything)

    If you don't already know this, you should read into the source of object managers before trying to create a bot, to get a full understanding of how it works.
