    Q: Unit is (really) dead?

    Hi,

    i'm currently using UNIT_FIELD_HEALTH to determine, if a unit is dead, or not. Now, i found a few unit's, which appearing as dead (Neferset Savage for example). These npcs having their full life, so UNIT_FIELD_HEALTH isnt enough. But how can i avoid this? Is there any other flag that i can check? I guess, UNIT_DYNAMIC_FLAGS has, what i'm looking for. But i'm not sure

    EDIT:

    Got it

    Bit.And(oDynFlags, 0x20) == 0x20

    UNIT_FIELD_HEALTH like UNIT_FIELD_POWER isn't accurate because it's streamed along with other updates to the descriptors. And sometimes even that doesn't seem to be true...
    Accurate health and mana values are stored as fields of the WowUnit. Reverse API UnitHealth - WoWWiki - Your guide to the World of Warcraft, it's obvious.
