Somewhat Offtopic Bot discussion/ ID

while in SHOLOZAR BASIN, and using my own program/bot i noticed that a low level (like 69 or something) person farming for ores there. it was interesting because:

1) the person was UNDER the terrain
2) the person was using some kind of warping or teleporting to move rapidly, and i mean RAPIDLY. you could see their blip on my radar move in quick chunks probably 100 times faster or more than you could possibly fly-
3) they were farming the ores from beneath the terrain.



any idea what program this person was using (bot) and how is this possible? i would not have known this person was there except my program has like a 'radar' window that shows all NPCs/PLAYERs/OBJECTs around me and their names. i have NOT figured out how to display PLAYER NAMES yet using memory only techniques (offsets). I wish someone would post that info if they have it, thanks-

a private farm-bot with teleport (search for "XYZ" on the forum).
maybe available for money, because i saw several of these in the last month.

but for safety reasons i wouldn't recommend to use anykind of teleport bots in public areas. people will ticket you fast.

Lol it's not XYZ it's a real teleport bot ive tried one of those once but i just ran it for 15 minutes or so

No disrespect to malu, I think its a cool concept, but I still object to calling that a teleporter.

It's a speedhack with waypoints.

well, is there some discussion somewhere on how to do this? being able to get to bosses in instances and etc without having to fight the trash mobs is a good use of this. what is the secret?

also, my second question was to see if there is an offset like we have for object names, NPC names that can be used to get the player names? surely there's a pointer chain from the base, etc.

I just explained how Malu is doing is 'telehack'. Drop down to below the terrain, enable a speedhack (hook the timing APIs), then move to the position you want to at your new increased speed.

Note: Warden looks for speedhacks now so you'll need to be careful.

Note 2: No-one is going to tell you how to write an actual telehack.

Regarding a true telehack, (go from X to Y at any time and any place in a split sec), it seem like "M C" isnt nurfed after all (a friend of mine just prooved that 20 minutes ago)....
So i can confirm that it "is" possible.

If you want to make a telehack you could start with these 2 offsets...

Its a nut to crack, but once you get a hang of it you will realize that the server side protection is "pretty shitty".

as a side note, i finally finished updating my bot to take commands in the background so i can do other things while WOW is running in the background collecting ores, killing creatures, etc. automatically. before i had to leave the window on top and in focus at a certain resolution, etc. i been surfing, doing bills, listening to interet radio, etc. all while my bot program is contolling my char in a little bitty windowed WOW running in the background. so cool-
