AutoIt - is it safe to use?

Hi,

How safe is to use AutoIt scripts with WoW now?
I need keep online for few hours a day and use some wow macros binded to action bar.
What is more safe to use: MouseClick or ControlSend?

autoit is detectable however i have been using chimpeon for 9 months anow with no issues in any game

The reality is that even if it was undetectable from a controlsend vs mouseclick angle, behavior can be analyzed and detected. In other words, software designed to detect automation "behavior" can still get you flagged for a ban. Is it safer to use something like AutoIt or AHK that doesn't hook WOW's memory and just hooks windows native instead, but the behavior can still flag you. Thus, be warned, nothing is truly "safe"
