I think the same , as long is another PC should be safe , but i still recommend to use a VPN or another connection for you Laptop , different than your main WoW-D3 account / main PC.

You think Blizzard link accounts via items transferred too ? According my large experience as gold seller in past i know damn well they link gold transferred (even via AH and gbank) and IP's but din't knew they even track items , trasmo / epics / mounts / pets / ect moved between accounts.
Anyone have any experience regarding this ? I'm very interested to know if Blizz flag accounts transferring such items.
